Shannon O'Rourke, is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. One of her online ventures expands upon her film, Maybe Baby, about single women trying to get pregnant. We developed an online community web site that gives Shannon the flexibility on the back-end to edit her site, and oversee blog entries with a totally customizable content management system. We designed a fun logo to attract women, to speak to the community of single women, and to create a consistent and compelling visual program. The honeycomb-like pattern has a dual meaning with its hexagon form, as the hexagon has its place in the science world and in the chicken coop.
